The Hudson Farmers Market is a project of Leadership Hudson - a community development program sponsored by The Rotary Club of Hudson Clocktower.
The Hudson Farmers Market is a collaborative volunteer effort designed to help retain the special character and fabric of Hudson. It is a project of Leadership Hudson, a program sponsored by The Rotary Club of Hudson Clock Tower, and a collaboration between community leaders and civic-minded residents.
Each year Leadership Hudson builds on the growth and success of the previous year to further improve our community. Over time, there will be a pool of savvy alumni who can be called upon to strengthen organization boards, provide energy for necessary levies, become candidates for office, serve on committees, and assume decision making roles that have positive results for Hudson. Leadership Hudson fosters the following:
- Development of Leadership Skills
- Local Business Awareness
- Community Organization Information
- Exposure to Public Services
- Definition of City Procedures
- Personal & Group Networking
The Leadership Hudson Class of 2006-2007 along with several other civically-minded volunteers has adopted The Hudson Farmers Market as its class project. The goal of the group is to establish a self-sustaining, self-managed non-profit Farmers Market to benefit local and surrounding communities, artisan producers and small businesses.
